I checked with my brother on those youth bows. He gave them to the neighbor boys over the summer to use and he's just gonna let them keep them. So he has none to sell, sorry.

Is this what the bucks look like down there? serious question. The body just looks so small. I didn't know if that was a normal deer for your neck of the woods.

Sorry about your dog, hope its doing well. I go on GB as often as I can, although I usally don't post much, but after reading about your dog and the * from MN that responded, I'm really impressed the way you and the others responded. I have a Irish Setter and if anything ever happened to him, I don't think I could have been as nice.

P.S. A+ on stating the state statute codes, SWEET!![:D][:D]

I have done some additional research and aside from HCA shooting arrows that are to light to get those speeds. I could find no negitive talk about their equipment in fact I would love to shoot one. just the heck of it. they seem to have a lifetime warrany so thats a good thing. In all seriousness I just bought my mathews but if I were now in the market for a bow I would have to say I would seriously consider the hca ssr. I think you shoud go ahead seems like a pretty good darn bow . How ever I would be cautios about arrow selection.[:I]
hope ya dident mind the razzing post we love ya[;)][B)]

well I actually held onto and looked at the 2 I originally THOUGHT I wanted... I like them both especially the HHA lite... anyway the one thing I dont like is that it is battery operated.. rain... makes me worry, but it looks like it would be FUN to play with... I spent 1.5 hours in the archery dept at BPS before David told me we had to go in order to make our dinner appt. (Funny it didnt feel like it was that long) I am set on the hind sight.. it was easy to use BUT BPS does not carry them in their store... only in their book. I am still deciding on an actual sight to go with it. I have an old cheapy that I grabbed from a friend that I have on there right now.

So any suggestions on the sight I should get? The one on the bow with the hind sight I shot last week had the vertical inline pins and I kinda liked it. Anyone know any pros/cons?

its all about pucks and bucks

I just use a simple sight. Nothing fancy, just fiber optic pins. I like to keep things simple; less to go wrong. I'm not sure what "hind sight" you are refering to. Is that one that kinda uses a rear sight to get rid of a peep? I have thought about those but still want to study them first. Hey Gagirl, check you e-mail please.

When in doubt, unload the clip, Semper Fi

One of the guys on a league that I am on uses his hind sight with this sight
    http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=50288&hvarDept=400&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=13&hvarSubCode=11&hvarTarget=browse

BPS has the hid sight online it might be beneficial to order online or get it from your local proshop.
