1st boat

Hey folks just got my 1st boat and ready to hit the rivers.
a guy at work had got it a year or two ago and only used it 6 or 7 times
but had it tuned up last summer.ITs a older one (1973 terrybass) but the motor has no were at all. has a 50 hp johnson the boat mec. said he would be supprised if it had over 50hours on it.
I post some pic. this weekend.cant wait to do a little fishing now.

    There is nothing like owning your own boat to run the river with.
    It sure beats renting one when you need it [:D]

    ...go for it taz...you will enjoy the crap out of it...then it will finally get to be a hassle to one degree or another, and you will end up selling it sooner or later probably...and that will make you just as happy as the day you bought it... [:D]

    Hey Tazzermy first boat is/was a 18 foot aluminum Vbottom, forget what brand, with a 40 horse Johnson. Love taking it out. have fun guy!

    I took it out right before i left for a vac. to check it all out and it would not go in rev. i called the guy i got it from and he told i could bring it back or take to the shop top have it check.
    I took it to the shop it cost 203.00 to fix,the guy i got it from paid half of that because he did not want to rip me off may have something to do with me working with him [:D][:D] but when i did have it out on the water everthing else worked great so good in fact that i would have paid the 200 to fix it anyways.I go to pick it up in the morning and plan on taking it back out sunday.
