Anyone keep a boat at Lake Erie ?

I sold my Sea Ray cabin cruiser a number of years ago and miss it .

How bad are slip fee's and what's gasone running now at a marina ?

    I also sold my boat and quit lake Erie about 1996, so I don't know about what dock fees are costing.

    Whatever the fees are, they aren't worth it.
    Watch out for the Tiger Mussels, they are bad.
    Store the boat onshore, clean it carefully after each trip on the water.
    OOPS. I mean Zebra Mussels.

    I used to have my Criscraft cabin cruiser docked on Erie but I sold it as the fees were getting to high.

    Yep, the Zebra mussels are bad out there I knew a few guys who had problems with them plugging their intakes.

    Another fish that should not have ever lived is the freaking dog fish!
    Looks like a catfish with and eels tail[:(]

    Dock fees this year are $1200 for me up near the islands.

    Last year gas peaked near $4 a gallon; I bought a 25 gallon gas caddy and filled it myself with still outrageous $3/gallon gas from the gas station. Most boats don't need leaded marine gasoline after all.
