    I was in boot camp, when Nixon said that no more troops would be sent enmass, but at the end of school afterwards, plenty of folks got orders for nam. hehehe I ended up there later any way. So much for my snickering.

    I also remember the freeze on promotions back then. What a cheeze Nixon was.
