A fellow in my support group is a veteran, assigned to A Troop, 1/9 1st Air Cav. He doesn't have access to Internet, and has asked me to see if I could locate army records, primarily after action reports, to verify his involvment in various operations. I was able to rapidly locate such reports for my own units, but that was the Marines, and evidently the Army is too big an organization to deal with having such records available to the public.
Anyone have any ideas on how to go about finding such records for his unit?
