  in that pic i was a young inspiring 19 year old parachute rigger and seat mech.
  it was the nations FIRST operational F14 squadron on uss enterprise. we were the ONLY AIRWING to fly F14's over nam. operation frequent wind....FITRON TWO.

  I have heard that they will be retired soon.

  F4-J was the best we had in 69-70. Still had the A-5, A-6 and A-7's. Also Awacks and the Vigalante. Sorry for the spelling. [8D]
