Source for Identification

I have a quantity of badges, pins, etc. from my wife's uncle. He served in Air Force during WW-II and I'd like to gather some information about the significance of various item, relative value, etc. Will try to attach a photo of a small sample.
Any direction to good info sources, etc. great appreciated.
