V.P.A. Officer Attending the Ft. Leavenworth CGSC

We have come full circle. There is an officer From the Vietnam People's Army attending the US Army Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth. His coming here is the result of Pres. Obama sending Sec. State Clinton to Hanoi, who was followed by Sec. Def. Gates. Then the US Congress passed legislation providing funding. The Maj. arrived in January and is currently attending classes. He is a very personable individual, mild of manner, and respectful.

    This sort of stuff has been going on for at least 20 years now in one form or another with other countries like Russia and China, so I'm not surprised to hear of the Vietnamese getting involved.
