Yeah, but they called him racist and he folded and started backpedaling. They always call critics racist and you can't get weak kneed. You have to stand tall when they make that attack. Rudy folded.

I won't fold. Obama doesn't love America. He hates America. You don't vow to fundamentally change something you love. He said in his book if forced to choose between Islam and America he would choose Islam. He said it our loud.

And no doubt he is a staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment as well.

    I don't love any Giuliani.

That he got this one right is likely accidental.

Rudy would be one more in a long list of forgotten NYC mayors if not for his attending funerals and memorials. He's been living off that one skillset since 9/11.

There's no such thing as an American President not loving this country. Rudy spouts such bullcrap to renew attention on himself.

On the news this AM they said he refused to apologies for his statement.

I can say it as much as I want only a few of no importance hear it, but it would be great if one of the guest on national TV would add he is a Muslim and a few million hear it. Maybe a few more would quit texting and start paying attention to the destruction of our country this man is engaged in

    My thoughts exactly, Doc.

Do not understand why Rudy immediately went into defensive mode rather than stating this one simple fact.

We must disagree on this one, Chris.

Obama expressed disdain for this country and its 'Liberty Negative' Constitution while running for POTUS.

He married a woman who never felt pride in her country until it elected her husband as POTUS.

Obama still wants to do what he said he wanted to do, which is (as Doc pointed out) fundamentally change the U.S.

A knee jerk 'There's no such thing as an American President not loving this country.' does not apply with this idiot. He has not succeeding in changing it enough just yet to love it.

He hates this place and everything it stands for. If you can't see it, it's probably because you are too afraid to open your eyes. Like most Libs, chicken ship too the core.

    Have a nice day! [:)]

    "Every president..."?

Not a chance. Obama hates America and has made that clear with every word and deed the past six years.

Yet another thread that would have fared so very much better in the Politics forum...

More of the same blah blah blah adolescent foolishness. They do it to you, you do it back, they do it back, on and on. All it takes is lots of out of context quotes, mis-quotes, made up quotes, manufactured moral indignation and ignoring the fact that every side plays in the same mud puddle.

It's just incredibly silly. At either end of the scale are maybe 20% of the voters who do not think deeply about issues or problems or what would work to fix them. They just feast, pure political gluttony, on whatever bloviated claptrap can be made up about whatever or whoever they do not like in the world of politics.

We have come close a couple of times to massive fundamental errors that would have altered elements of this country's very foundations for generations. One of those President's resigned, the other lost in the Supreme Court.

Guess what, even those guys dearly loved America. They were wrong about lots of things, or just a few, but they loved their country.

Obama Loves the USA, Just not how it was founded. Remember his words "Fundamental Change" It's that pesky Constitution that's getting in his way.

The black, socialist, muslim we now have as president loves what he's doing to the country. That is different than loving the country.

I don't know, and really don't think it matters a whole lot, but I cannot remember Obama ever saying anything that would cause me to believe that he had a deep love of country.

I can understand. I have not had a particularly deep love of country from March of 2003 to now. I had a blind love of country until that point, and because of that could overlook much of how the founding principles of limited Government were being ignored, and how our founders' advise to avoid foreign entanglements had been ignored in the post-war era.

The straw that broke the camel's back so to speak was the unprovoked invasion of a sovereign state, albeit one led by a man who had proven himself a danger to his neighbors and our oil supply. Even if all of the now discredited intelligence had proven to be true, the invasion was not, IMO, justifiable. I was in Quebec during the lead up to the invasion in March of 2003 and was asked how I felt about what was by then a fairly predictable invasion. My only response, because I was not going to denounce my country to a bunch of foreigners, was that there is probably some justification on humanitarian grounds, as Hussein had killed upwards of 300,000 of his own people to that point in his career.

So, does Obama 'love' his country? Who knows, and who cares.

He is changing it into something it was never intended to be, and when one does that without changing basic structures, something that is obviously lagging, the end result is not self-supporting. If those basic structures can be changed in time to prevent a collapse, Obama will have succeeded in the final transformation of what was once a vibrant free enterprise zone acted within by free and independent individuals into a massive government centered economic entity that will continue to suck the life out of those once free individuals.

That may be the country he loves. Obviously this is not the country envisioned by the founders and was not the one he campaigned to lead, though every President since FDR (oddly with the possible exception of Carter) actively increased the power of the Federal Government over its citizens.

Mr. Obama did not grow up here in the States.
Mr. Obama's Christian leader for 20 years hates America.
Mr. Obama was accurately quoted saying we are five days from a fundamental change in America, he meant it and he is doing it.
Mr. Obama refused to wear an American flag lapel pin until the politics of it hurt him.
Mr. Obama was elected and took a world wide apology tour.
Mr. Obama relied on the 47% that are takers and uninformed to win office, twice, he has grown that number to over 50%.
Mr. Obama has exploded regulation of our lives in a exponential manner SEE:::: https://cei.org/blog/new-data-code-federal-regulations-expanding-faster-pace-under-obama

Those Chris are not in doubt; they are fact.

    Okay, puzzle me this.

Islam includes a religion, a social system, a government, and a legal system, all it own.

The penalty for leaving Islam is, according to the Qur'an and ahadith, is death.

So a Muslim cannot be a citizen of a country, any country, unless it is Islamic. Right?

If a Muslim leaves his Muhammadan country and moves to another country where he becomes a citizen, then he has left Islam, and is an apostate, and thus under the death penalty. Unless, that is, he becomes a citizen under false pretenses.

All those arguments that are applied to Jews - are they a race? are they a nation? is it just a religion? - also apply to Muslims, but ten times over. So if he's a Muslim, Obama cannot be a real American; if he's a real American, he cannot be a Muslim.

And no, I do not believe that Muslim Americans are real Americans because their religious obligations conflict with the civil and moral obligations of citizenship...unless they are lying about their dedication and fealty to Islam.
