I have been bothered by the polls. they seem too subjective.

RASMUSSEN National Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
1* Generally speaking how do you rate the way that Congress is doing its job..excellent good fair or poor?

GALLUP
Do you approve or disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job?

How would YOU rate congress, and WHY?

other than screwing the Constitution, country, taxpayer, and citizen they seems to be doing fine for their own bank account, illegals, foreign businesses, and promoting ideologies against the homeland...I think an "F" grade is in order...but my opinion is not relevant to them

I DO NOT TRUST OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATIC SYSTEM OR INTENT.
    Double that for SCOTUS
    Triple that for The Senate
    Quadruple that for Congress
And magnify that distrust by a factor of ten for the POTUS.

Considering that they've prevented Allahbama from getting anything except Obamacare through in nearly six years and it appears 'bama has reached his high-water mark, I'd give the Republicans and a few Democrats a passing grade.

That is a good point. except for spending and that could have been worse.

Let's not forget the Democrats have controlled the Senate since Jan 2007. and the House from Jan 2007 thru Dec 2010.

On a scale of 0~4 the senate would be 0. Primarily because of Reid using the Nuclear option and blocking bills from the house some of which even had democrat support. Not letting these bills come to a vote so Democrats won't have to go on the record as opposing or even a chance they might pass and O would veto thus tying him to a position.

The House I would give a 1.5 strictly on the leadership.

I am disappointed in their attempt (at times) to reach across the aisle. I would prefer a speaker that when they reach across the aisle it is to grab them by the throat and not let go until they fall limp to the floor.

OK that's just a dream but at very least one that is as moderate and non-partisan as Nancy Pelosi.[:D]

Every time you compromise with a Socialist he WINS. Once you open the door they will be back again and again and again........

I think the House has done a good job checking the power of the POTUS for the last couple of years. He got the ACA but that is about all so I would give the House a "good" grade. The Senate, not so good...."poor" would be about it. So to average.....A "C" or average would be it.

I'd rate them all as something that you get on the bottom of your shoes when you walk through a pigpen.
