Trump wanted to drain the swamp but all he is draining is The Federal Treasury!

The final legislation boosts U.S. military spending and provides increased funding for U.S. border security, but it sidesteps many of the promises Trump and Republican lawmakers made.

It provides no money for constructing a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, and it continues funding for Planned Parenthood, a women's health organization that performs abortions. Many conservative Republicans saw the bill as a lost opportunity that gave minority Democrats too many concessions. Used under fair usage clause

The guy was a Democrat most of his life until he decided to run for President. Just the other day he spouts off that he is a Nationalist AND a globalist(something he railed Clinton was all throughout the campaign). A leopard doesn't change its spots and once a Democrat always a Democrat. He sold the people that voted for him a bill of goods and has no or very little intention on delivering his promises....and the Republican Party is full of a bunch of wimps who have given the Democrats everything they wanted. I guarantee you if money doesn't get funded for the wall in September it will never be built. The job is harder than he thought...well no s*** Sherlock. There's more to being the President than to just keep saying how beautiful it was that you won the Electoral vote. Obamacare should have been 100% scrapped and stay out of the healthcare industry but they just couldn't bear to do it. Ryan has no backbone at all. I want these Republicans in Congress to be like Conan the Barbarian to the Democrats. Give them no quarter, take everything from them you can now because you might not get the chance in 2018.

Trump has been part of the establishment for almost 50 years. Did anyone really believe he would significantly change?

That said, we should wait and see if he insists that the GOP led Congress passes an actual budget by October 1, and what he insists be in that budget to gain his signature.
