Only it is live, on TV every evening.

How could ISIS just appear out of thin air where do they get their money, guns, training? You can't just get RPG's, 40MM grenade launchers and full auto heavy machine guns on fleabay

In the Bible there was a whole lot of begat-ing and kids with names nobody but the Priest can pronounce but ISIS? WTH who are these guys?

Libia, gone to the dogs, Iraq same thing, it is gone if the US stops bombing. Syria's madman killer Assad seems like your friendly neighbor compared to ISIS guys. Fighting in the Golan Heights makes me think the Israelis are very nervous and rightfully so.

How did this happen? Is Obama's administration really, truly that stupid in dealing with the middle-east? What about the oil dudes, are they funding this mess? I know the Saudi's are a bunch of evil scumbags are they behind it too?

IS another 09-11-2001 on the horizon from these new butt heads. What happened to Al Queida? Did they take their flying rug and go home to grow dates and figs?

It is so confusing.......

Nope. You don't know what they know or what they have already briefed the Kenyan-in-Chief.

These guys are nothing new the sect was started back in the 18th century by a dude named Inb Al Wahhab and they call themselves Wahhabis.
They profess what they call the purest form of Islam and to them all non Wahhabis are not real Muslims including the Saudis that practice a milder form of Wahhabism not acceptable to them. They have done this before committing all kinds of atrocities murdering many Muslims until they where defeated by the Ottoman Turks.

These terror groups are not new and POTUS has been briefed on ISIS for years and just sat on his hands. He is completely correct....he has no plan for dealing with them as he refuses to select A/B/C/D presented to him. This has always been his MO...he just does not like to make decisions that he might be held responsible for in the end....remember how many times he voted "present" in both ILL and the US Senate? I am beginning to think that he is just not the sharpest knife in the drawer....a complete Affirmative Action hire....sad.

Obama was handed a number of very difficult situations. He knew, or at least should have known how difficult they were.

It seems at every turn, he has chosen poorly if he made a choice at all. Did he actually choose poorly, or, if he is a smart as we are told that he is, did he make choices knowing the likely outcome?

I don't personally think he is smart enough to be 'Indonesian Candidate', but if he does actually have above average intelligence, he has not devoted much of it to thwarting radical Islam.

Will ISIS attack Egypt when someone tells them ISIS was an ancient Egyptian Goddess?

ISIS is not ISIS, it is ISIL.

Apparently around 80,000 nominally Sunni, not Wahabist generally, a product of Syrian rebellion and disenchanted Iraqi fighters.

They got their arms the old fashioned way....they took them from their enemies.

They captured much of their money and gold, sold oil under the counter, peddled drugs and whatever. A resourceful group.

An old fashioned gang, looking for a state to legitimize their Caliphate claim.

ISIS is formed by the Wahhabi sect a branch of Sunni Islam.
radical Wahhabis have no problem at all recruiting regular Sunnis
check it out, pick your choice.

The self-proclaimed caliph of the Islamic State (AKA ISIS or ISIL), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is the holder of BA, MA and PhD degrees in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Baghdad. This guy is no dummy.

He was recently released from interment in Camp Bucca by the Obama Administration. When he walked out of the gate he is reported to have turned to the camp commander and stated "I will see you in New York."

Ironically, Al Queda has denounced the Islamic State as being too radical and violent - probably sour grapes as they have been essentially overshadowed by the group and have had much of their funding switched to the Islamic State.

There's the horde of flies in the ointment, TV. It's a poison and a plague, believing it is believing a gun isn't loaded.

You referenced the bible, the book very often tells people what to do without telling people why it's important they do it, history, the only subject the book commands people to know and understand tells us what happens when we don't do what's right. The book based on what we are supposed to do clearly says tv isn't what we are supposed to be letting into ourselves based on the content of it's broad casting.

TV is a much greater threat to this country than any invading force as it's killing us from with in...and many of us pay to pipe it into our homes.

Somehow ISIS being so well armed will be the excuse for the UN's arms treaty to be passed.

This was happening all year long and King Obama fiddled er I mean played golf. They got the weapons mostly from us as the Iraqi troops that we trained and outfitted just dropped everything and left their post. Then when they took Mosul the 2nd largest city in Iraq they got $450 million out of the national bank. They are said to have a war chest of almost a $ billion now and can afford to buy the very best weapons that the world has to offer.

It is a remarkably successful tactic if you accept that the goal is really a state of perpetual war.
