Okay, How Did You Rate the Debate?

Trump came across to me as genuine. He didn't go from notes where it appeared to me Hillary did. Hillary gets some points for her composure which tells me she probably had drugs in her system.
Donald Trump appeared to me as a amateur at speaking with all the enthusiasm of a youthful amateur.
Hillary is a party hack and her puppeteers have invested a lot in her.
I didn't see any major wins or loses for either side.

I think he did well. Especially since the demorats have spent the last week trying to raise expectations for Trump, and lower them for their candidate.

I don't think I have ever seen such an effort by a major party to undercut their candidate. They are scared.

Watch the video. Her eyes were blinking like crazy for the first 10 minutes or so, then they calmed down. They doped her right before she came out, and it took a few minutes to kick in.

trump spoke as if everyone was a informed voter, hitlary spoke to uniformed voters

one example: he name dropped debbie wasserman schultz, even the liberals who will vote for her have no idea who she is

Hildabeast lied (what a surprise) and Donald held his own. Hildabeast took the low road at the last (speaks of desperation) and Donald took the high road.

The afterwards hacks will do what the media has done for the last 12 years. No surprise there.

Nothing will change my mind from here to November.

Tactical draw, strategic win for Hilldog

Trump needed a big win here to really move the needle.

Not sure what race you have been watching, but the needle has been moving.

Just this AM Nate Silver of 538 Polling (the guru according to the left) announced that his calculations give Trump a 54.9% chance of winning. In August he put the number at a 92.3% chance for a Hillary win.

    Trump is doing fine.

I thought he did pretty well for his first one-on-one debate (she's had a couple dozen or more,) but he could have done much better. He was very defensive about his taxes, when he should have been hitting her hard on Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, etc.

It was exciting and I think he controlled it much of the time. I think there should also be a large audience for the next one.

She often came off as wooden and just mouthing the usual boring platitudes that 'bama has been spewing on us for years about "working together," etc. Whereas Trump was passionate and speaking from his heart on specific issues.

I think it was pretty much a draw, and he'll learn from tonight and be even more effective next time.

Draw. I do look for Trump to improve for the next debate. He needs some coaching and prep work. I'd say he knows something of a surprise to come. He was genuinely Trump.

Everyone here rates it pretty much the same.
The Clinton camp is just gushing how Hillary won and Trump is a maniac.
I just have come to believe they do not possess walking around sense.
Frankly, I'm for taking the warning labels off everything and let them die. They're pretty worthless.
I have a woman friend that is from Michigan. She is for Hillary. I look at her and think "Why bother". It's very sad.[:(]

as to the "debate" more like a cat fight....and after years of obummer the world has to be laughing hysterically at this presentation of "leadership" and look forward to more quality entertainment...have to agree that the Don appeared like a petulant kid and hilde as the same ole established political desperately hanging on....and wild Bill afterwards frustrated by Trumps covey of gorgeous women and he unable to leave one his room number....

Trump attacked, the * spewed crap. Trump faced off with lester dolt, the questions highly favored the hag. I felt she already knew what the questions were.

Trump controlled his time and lester very well. The hag just double talked and used the "smilin' joe biden" look to poor effect.

Trump reinforced how he will stop other countries from screwing us and make them pay. The * spewed more useless liberal crap.

Trump won, he stuck to his message and was genuine. hitllary just reinforced what a slimebag she is.

The debate confirmed what I already have known about her. The DEMOCRAT candidate would be the most destructive POTUS ever. If she is elected we are doomed.

BTW you can go to DRUDGE and vote on his poll and MSNBC and TIME Mag polls as to whom won and pass it on.

....if you want an ole drugged out hag(criminal) for potus , you need to vote for her....she has no reason to make Americans feel safe, especially when she said she would modify gun laws...(confiscation) as I see it! I'm afraid there will be apathy at the polls this year.., but Trump will win![;)]

I saw a liar, doing more of the same, ,,answers that mean nothing to her, just open her mouth and spew whatever needs to be said. Trump does not have the polish, so what, I believe he is SOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER than the Hillary corrupt machine.

I was expecting more from trump last night. I'm happy that he didn't go off last night.
To me, she gave more details and number and percentages etc.... While he focused on continually saying how we were heading downhill.
He let so many gotcha 's go. He should have hammered her more.

I don't know, maybe I'm too pessimistic but I think he could have hit a home run.

Glad to hear that he apparently did better after I switched it off in the first few minutes.

I thought he was doing very poorly. He was unprepared and lacked detail and substance. Trump has had plenty of time to have been more prepared to handle that debate better. He is not a great speaker. I personally thought she was killing him.

Like I said based on what I am reading here apparently he did better but the first ten minutes was embarrassing.

Based on those first ten minutes I thought some deep pocketed person like Buffet or Gates should immediately start a huge campaign reminding Americans they CAN write in a candidate and put up for instance say Governor Haley with Cruz as VP.

Almost anything is better then Hillary or Trump
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

The author got it pretty close to how it sounded except for her final dig at Trump. The fact was that Trump came out an emphatically stated that he would support Clinton if she won. Clinton stated she would accept the decision of the American people.

A big difference, and one where Trump did, in fact, come across as the bigger person.

Seems those who've cared to comment nationally are saying Trump is ahead.

    Just after the debate:

    Current Polls:

    Trump : 53.35%
    Clinton : 41.70%
    Neither : 3.28%
Don't Know : 1.67%Other polls are following suit.

The same poll tonight has Trump gaining ground.Trump : 57.44%
    Clinton : 37.83%
    Neither : 3.18%
    Don't Know : 1.54%

    Really ?

I didn't see that much of a difference in replies to the question.

My advice to the Trump campaign is to stay away from any mention of her marital problems with Bill, though.

There is, in my opinion, a big difference in Clinton stating that she would support the decision of the American People, and Trump stating that he would support President Clinton.

One is a half-assed support of the office, and one is a pledge to support the person in the office.
