This looks like a desperate situation and the Air force is on stand down. WTH?

Thank god they are well armed so they don't have to surrender and be beheaded.

Get a load of this part,

The attacking ISIS forces approached Balad Air Force Base in trucks Wednesday and called through loudspeakers for all private security forces and Iraqi special military to leave immediately or die.

The U.S. private contractors in touch with DNW reported that after hearing the broadcast, the private security forces and the Iraqi military defending the base dropped their weapons and ran.

Nethinks the AF is getting ready to "standup" and take these guys on. And the 200 contractors....well, most of those guys are very capable of taking care of themselves. Let's start airdropping them in supplies and treat this as an opportunity to take care of needed "business" on some cocky terrorists who have overextended themselves. Hopefully our CIC will keep his cocky mouth shut, call in our military guys who know how to deal with this problem, and get out of their way and let them do what they are trained to do. One persons disaster is another person's opportunity. Sadly, we need an FDR in the White House and we have a community organizer but I can only wish he shutsup and let our guys do their thing.

ISIS seems to be very well funded. Professional looking uniforms and everything. I wonder who is financing them.

Waco....same guys that funded OBL. The problem now is that they have taken two helo's and for the first time can airlift their fighters on the battlefield plus they have captured over 70 Iraqi tanks. It is becoming a big problem. The original Bremer mistake of firing the Sunni officers in SH's army was a big error....and they evidently are giving guidance and backbone to these killers. But they were defeated once by our guys and can be defeated again....if we had the leadership in place to do it....instead we got a ill equipped POTUS who is completely out to lunch (and golfing) when this disaster is all around his rather large ears. If he would get involved with our military, let them come up with a workable plan, support them...oh, well, you know. But we are dealing with a guy who thinks he knowsitall, advised by Valarie Jerrett and Sandra Rice among other lightweight sockpuppets so we are up against it IMO. Rather sad how far we have fallen....the entire National Security team does need to be sent back to Chicago IMO and work in the projects where they evidently are really good.....they are lousy in DC.[:(]

This is about the last thing the Saudi's want.....a radical group on their border! Heck, this situation might actually have the other effect....drive the Saudi's and Iranians to the bargaining table with us in the middle working out a solution. Going to be interesting...

The "Saudi's"....I say it again...its to their benefit to pay "protection".....Politics is easy...all you have to do is figure the contrary! With out the help of the "Enemy" Saudi Arabia will be nothing but a sand pile...Its win win for Prince Kaleed!
