>I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars.

Gun control means people control..the real aim of every gun law passed since 1930....unarmed folks make great subjects.
'Course,ARMED folks are making good little subjects,here in America..as the Founders groan and spin in their graves...

The poor can wait on hold for police help and be victims.
Can be label that "neo-feudalism"? Compare private armed guards to baronial armies and those who have to rely on publicly underfunded police forces as serfs?
Guns ownership is about equal rights for people rich and poor NOT to be a victim.

This is not suprising. Nature works on a predator/prey cycle. If you introduce more prey into the ecology, nature responds with more predators in an attempt to cull the heard and provide balance. The uneducated, so called peace loving people, never learn this most basic of concepts. Instead of promoting peace, they encourage violence by encouraging the natural predators with easier prey.
