Another Rant....

n/an/a Member Posts: 168,427
This from another GD post about where the nation is headed and why...... quote:People are sick of talking about it. People want action, and the only action in this country that makes ANY change is the vote. and, there isn't one until next year. i believe the sleeping giant has been awakened.

register to vote, vote. vote them all out. repeat as necessary. As a good citizen, I vote, just as I do every election, local, state and national. It is one of the only remaining peaceful methods of attempting to bring about change in the direction of the nation's future.

What then, do we as citizen's do when that vote proves to be utterly meaningless, as it surely will be in the next election cycle, just as it has been for many years?

We are among the most carefully managed and controlled people on earth and we don't even realize it.

Your "election choices" are pretty much spoon fed to you by the Globalist-Collectivist Party. The menu has only one meal, that being "schit". It may come in different sized portions and different flavors, but nonetheless, it is still fresh, steaming, stinking "schit", brought to you by the One-World Cabal at the Globalist-Collectivist Party.

You know, that single party we have in "new america", the one which merely has two wings, the Democrat left-wing and the Republican right-wing; that party which is deliberately marching "new america" toward the same global utopia.

All it would take to break away from this one-course menu, would be for people to open their eyes; yet, all we can do is perpetually fall for the "back-and-forth" see-saw game of "yeah, well our turd is better than your turd". The tired ol' game of "left vs. right", "Democrat vs. Republican" and on and on and on.......

We fall for it in droves.

Many of the grumblers and those who feel that "something isn't right" with America, expect a different outcome, but play the exact same game, as America's voters continue to do each and every time.

It is simply incredible that the answer is The Constitution and its strict limitations on government and also in the crystal-clear principals of "individualism" that this once-Republic were founded upon, yet we fail to act according to the Supreme Law of The Land.

All is there to see, right before our eyes, yet, we fail to "see", or are afraid of what it is that we do see, or are hesitant to admit what it is that we see, because one would be called a "wearer of a tin-foil hat" to ever admit that this is a planned outcome and the Republic is being deliberately slain, openly, right in the open.

I just don't get the failure to grasp what is an obvious methodology.

Go figure....

Or how about the people now, that hollar about this and that isn't constitutional? You know, the people who didn't care when THEIR choice for office did something anti-constitutional. And so these new "constitutional followers" really understand the constitution and it's contents, or is this just a new part of their game? Is this their new catch phrase?
I recently heard Rush using this arguement. Funny, I never heard him use that sediment when Repukes were the majority, nor with any Repuke before.....

Over the course of the last couple of years of the GWB presidency, I did hear Rush on a couple of occasions, question the constitutionality of some things GWB was doing. Not as much questioning as I was doing, but Rush did raise the questions.

In my estimation, we no longer have Democrat and Republican parties.

We have Democrat (Socialist bordering on communist) and Democrat Lite (socialist). They still call themselves Republicans, but their actions belie their words.

It's just two heads of the same snake anymore.

    100% accuracy.

The only 'change' wrought by the majority at the ballot box is a change of person or party, not principles.

As I see it, the difference between the Bush administration and the Obama administration:

At least the Bush admin gave the semblance of caring by employing teams of attorney and legal scholars to at least appear that they were trying to be Constitutional.

The Obama administration does not even give the appearance of caring about the Constitution. They just want to ram through as much of their totalitarian/communist agenda as possible, having the majority of communist (democrat politicians) in both houses.

Sadly, the Republican party, which used to have a semblance or concern for the people and the Constitution, is now just the second head of the same snake.

Keep in mind that it has nothing to do with "Obams this"..."or Bush that"... they are merely puppets. CONgress is merely puppets.

We simply need a good house cleaning.

Besides the original rant being DEAD DAMN ON this ("Keep in mind that it has nothing to do with "Obams this"..."or Bush that"... they are merely puppets. CONgress is merely puppets.") wraps it up all nice and neat like.

I've come to believe over the past decade or two that "elections" and "voting" are simply more distractions to keep the proletariat occupied and their attention away from what is actually occurring.

    Rock,
Yup, and to give the "illusion" that we actually have some say in what happens.

Oh my god! What communist agenda?? Trying to fix the problems and save the tanking economy that W caused and fed and nurtured so that the rich could remain rich (which kinda backfired but........). Been in the schools lately? Kids are dumber than ever and a good percentage can't read and they still have diplomas. A breakdown of teachers, yes, because if they want to teach and keep a job (even a bad one in this economy) they have little choice with "No Child Left Behind".

Look at your history, a learned person makes better decisions, if America gets dumber, it will be easier for whomever to do whatever they want including take your guns.

    Peace
