UN and Gun Laws

frousseaufrousseau Member Posts: 33 ✭✭
The President of the National Rifle Association has sent a message most of us don't want to hear, the United Nations and Anti-Gun Organizations and Non-Governmental Organizations are banding together for the June UN "Small Arms Conference". Now all these Anti-gun Organizations are being funded by Billionaire Soros and others for the sole purpose of taking our guns away which means taking our Freedoms away. First off you have to realize what the Charter of the United Nations calls for, here is the Charter Word for Word, nothing left out or added:

"WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED
to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and

to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and

to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and

to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom.
(Go to the United Nations site on the web to confirm the above)

You have to remember the United Nations has NEVER, won a War, Stopped Despots from Terrorizing their own people, have never stopped Hunger, though Trillions of Dollars has gone in that direction, have not saved many Children when you consider the Millions that are dying from Hunger, Disease, Terrorism, with a total lack of attention to their plight. Its obvious that some Politicians still don;t realize the United Nations problems.

Read the United Nations Charter again and check the History. Could there possibly be anything so misused, so misrepresented, so incapable, so unqualified and so Expensive, like the UN?

Read the Message and Pass it aalong!

Remember, even if an antigun treaty were passed, none of us are obligated to follow it. We are only obligated to fight, or die.

    Once again;
No AMERICAN will follow such a law, treaty, edict, or suggestion.

I pray that we have already been pushed to the wall with gun control...and when the wall is pressing against your shoulder..you fight.

I wish a movement would start to move the UN out of the US and over to Sweden or the UK. Just out of our county. The majority of leaders in the UN are Dictators or representatives of socialist countries. We would be better served by having that influence out of here. IMHO

Yes it is completely true the United Nations is a socialist, one world order organization. Belief me folks they are going to keep trying to get world gun control measures institututed.
I do believe some Americans would "roll over" and give up their guns(and thus ALL THEIR FREEDOMS). But of the reported 80,000,000 gun owners in the USA if even half of us stood together and fought the gun grabbers the UN would have a heck of a time!!!!!!!
    "LIVE FREE OR DIE" !!!!!!!!!!

Yes, indeed. Reference the NRA...stating over and over..."Without the NRA fighting for your gun rights...you will lose your guns".

    Sounds impressive, eh ?
    Well..time for reality.

The day that the UN/American Government bans guns..is the day that decent, honest Americans turn their backs on the lying, corrupt politicians...and take America back. No thanks to the NRA...never once have they hinted at armed resistance. Never have they stated that a citizen has a higher duty then to obey crooked laws...passed by Socialist/Fascist politicians.
We already have lost the Right to Bear Arms.Today it is a privilege..judgement passed on you by slimy evil little men, safely enscounched in the halls of power.
The answer is quite simple. Withdraw. Obey the laws..all of them.
Obey until they pass that final law...so griveous that an American simple cannot obey it.
Let the chips fall where they may.

Highball: I seem to remember Charlton Heston stating "from my cold, dead hands" at an NRA function.

    Yup..he sure did.
    Held up a single-shot muzzle-loader. Really impressive.

The Second Amendment coverS current MILITARY WEAPONS...had he held up a M-16...I would have been 100% in his court.

Sadly..the man you laud is on record within a few months of taking office in the NRA.."No American Citizen NEEDS AN ASSUALT WEAPON.."

You keep right on honoring Heston...I will call him what he was...an Anti-Gunner.

Highball, you misunderstand me. I was not honoring Heston, merely re-stating what I saw. I wasn't aware of the assualt-rifle quote that he had made, thanks for making me aware of it.

    HVOF;
    Apreciate the clarification.
The arguments rage on about the NRA. You got some of the back-blast..sorry.
I am no longer a fan of the NRA.

    Understatement of the decade.[:D]

The NRA is to gun rights as George W. Bush is to border control. A lot of lipservice, a lot of flash, but very little follow through. Yet everbody has to support them because they have the numbers behind them.

In a perfect world, GOA would be promoting our gun rights and Michael Savage would be president.

Personally, I remain leary of GOA

After Katrina it was the NRA (as faulty as it may be) along with the SAF that went screaming to the courts and stopped the gun confiscations.

I didn't hear a peep out of GOA.

There was a complete explanation of why they could not get involved, on their web site.
It wasn't because they didn't want, or were afraid to.

This is how the NRA rasies money. They scare you into believing your guns might be taken away so you donate money to them!

It goes without mentioning that the NRA can only exist if gun kontrol exists.
