Primers for old shotgun hulls

I picked up 100, 10 gauge primed paper hulls at a local gun show. They are marked TEI on the bottom. My problem is that when I went to reload one a standard 209 primer rattled around in the primer pocket. I put a micrometer to the spent primer and it is a nominal .250".

My searching on the internet didn't find any reference to this sized primer.

Does anyone know what the ID of these primers is and where I may find a supply of them.

    They may be Remington No 57 or 97 size also my be BERDAN size 1 ,1&1/2 or 2

    Thanks Richbug my mistake I knew they were different size Now I remember if you forced a number 209 then the original 57 would fall out . For some reason I though it was the other way around.

    The Remington size 57, 157 and 97 are smaller than a 209.

    As I recall, the Alcan "DF" was about .250 diameter. They were a replacement for the Peters No-4...none are available today.
    The old Alcan 545 would also fill the hole at .249 dia.

    you should be able to 'force' a 209 into the hull. I used to do this on the older Rem. hulls and it worked well.
