From the Hornady 5th Edition Reloading Manual :
    300 Weatherby
    Test Rifle = Weatherby Mark V - 26" bbl.
    Hornady Case/Brass
    Federal 215 Primer
165gr Hornady SST Bullet (and all of their other 165gr bullets).

    IMR 4831 Powder:
    Starting Load = 64.9gr for 2800fps
    Maximum Load = 78.0gr for 3300fps

    RL22 Powder:
    Starting Load = 72.4gr for 2800fps
    Maximum Load = 84.0gr for 3300fps

    IMR 7828:
    Starting Load = 73.8gr for 2800fps
    Maximum Load = 83.3gr for 3200fps

Loaned my 6th Edition Manual to a friend -- Doubt it's much different.
    Good Luck........[^]

I found a book by load books USA They show a max load of
    Rl22 87.6 for 3400
    imr 4831 85.1 for 3400
    imr 7828 89.2 for 3300
also later in the book they show 86 gr of 7828 with a 180gr nosler for 3240 all of these seem a little high as far as powder charges
I load a 180gr barnes xlc with 84.5gr of rl22 and that is showed as maximum in barnes 3 nosler 5 does not mention the 86gr load
    thanks

If all bullets loaded the same they wouldn't need different manuals.
Do what you think is best, but I would use the Hornady data for the Hornady bullets. Then work up slow until you see what your gun shows pressure at.
    Good Luck & be careful...........

Alot of the older manuals show much hotter loads than the newer ones do because they didn't have the pressure equipment they have now days. The older Speer manuals are full of loads that are generally considered to hot today too.
    Good Luck..............[^]
