Looking for a source of 2" 410 shells or info on cutting down 3" hulls to reload. These would be for a Marbles Gamegetter.

Thanks,

Steve

I used to make cylinder-length .410 shells for my 45 Colt. They ended up being about 1 3/4" and held about a half-ounce of shot.

I simply sized the hulls in a Lee Reloader (the * that uses a mallet), then trimmed them flush with the cylinder. About five grains of Unique is plenty. Then I trimmed 410 shot cups so they'd be just a bit shorter than the hull when seated over that charge. For an over-shot wad, I cut tablet backer with a 40 S&W case. A ring of hot glue holds it all together. Done.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.
