How durable are bowling pins for pistol targets[:p]?

Are they very expensive?

Ours last for 3-4 rounds of 10-12 shooters per round in the big bore class. They are pretty much kindling after we're done with them. I'm talking about regulation bowling pin matchs at 35'.
We buy ours through one of our members who knows a guy that owns several bowling alleys. We pay a buck apeice, in lots of 100 or 200.

We go through 5-10 during a shoot. This is usually with about 10 people cycling through at the different pistol powers. 45's really tear them up. It is fun though. [:D]
