RP and MU shell holders

geeguygeeguy Member Posts: 1,047
1. Can someone enlighten me on the Mfg. of shell holders marked "MU" and "RP"?

2. I have a cross ref chart for Lee, RCBS, Pacific, Lyman, Hornady. Where can I get one for the above two brands?

I came into about 100 older shell holders and am attempting to organize these.

Any help would be appreciated.

Look at a BONANZA CO-AX holder chart for the MU.
    Here's a list of numbers,

30-30 "MU" or "BSI" No 4
303 Brit "MU" or "BSI" No 11
    38 / 357 "MU" or "BSI" No 3
44 Spcl / 44 Mag "MU" or "BSI" No 9
44-40 "MU" or "BSI" No 19
45 AR "MU" or "BSI" No 13
45 Colt "MU" or "BSI" No 21

    Thanks.

I had thought MU was Bonanza but could find a chart on line. I also believe R-P is Redding/Pacific, but again I haven't found anything on line to confirm this.

Aren't these knurled around the sides [?]

Yes the sides are. They are nice looking shell holders, but the "Redding" chart does not appear to match the holders. I got about 60 of these shell holders in a big box with other reloading equipment from a Gunsmith sale. Most are for rifle with numerous dublicates, not in packages. Just what I needed, more shell holders. Even had several LN threaded shell holders for the old Lee primer tool.

Lots of Puma and Norma new brass in the box, so I can't complain.
