Cal.30

I have about 30lbs of .30 cal hulls, it has C767 marked on the bottom. But the hulls are brass and the shine on the outside is now dull. Are they any good are just sale them for the brass. They came for my father in laws stock from the 70s.

    It would help to know what 30 cal. 308, 30-06, 30 carbine, 30 mauser, 30 Army (30-40).

Are they berdaned primed, is the inside of the case corroded? A dull finish is ok as opposed to green flaking corrosion.

Be aware that really old brass that was shot with mercury primers is near worthless for reloading.

    Excellent guess Ray.

Can you post a few pics of typical looking brass and a clear close-up of the head stamp?
