Setting up the Forster trimmer in a drill press

  I am not familiar with one that uses the shoulder. I have two of the regular ones. One is adapted for a cordless drill motor.

  added you should try using the depth control adjustment on drill press.

  With the force available using the drill press, you may be pushing the shoulder back. Better check that as excessive headspace is a much worse condition than a case trimmed too short.

  I bet he has a Lee trimmer chucked up in his drill press . If that's the case you need to use the shellholder for it also , because tht's your stop ! Any Forster trimmer I've ever seen was a benchtop model .

  I've seen trimmers that located off the shoulder but don't remember what brand.
