125 gr bullets in 30 carbine ??

Anyone ever loaded these? I know there is no loading data available but I am thinking turn down the powder level quite a bit and work up. I have sierra 125gr flat nose HP and the length looks to be good. Not sure if they would function semi auto but they would work good in my revolver.

OTOH, the spire point 125gr. HP TNTs were very accurate, and upset to almost .45" diameter in Whistledog meat.
Don't think I'd try them in an M1 carbine though, they stick out a bit.
