125 gr bullets in 30 carbine ??

Anyone ever loaded these? I know there is no loading data available but I am thinking turn down the powder level quite a bit and work up. I have sierra 125gr flat nose HP and the length looks to be good. Not sure if they would function semi auto but they would work good in my revolver.
Maybe 12 gr of H110 and see what that does.

Just a caution - all the loads I've seen for H110 were for full loads, with a warning not to reduce them. Don't know if this is about safety, or leaving unburned powder.

The Lyman 49 edition has data for 115 & 130 grain cast plus 100 and 110 jacketed with pressures listed.

I've used the 123gr. .311" bullets for the SKS in my Blackhawk, looking for an accurate hunting load; that weren't it.
OTOH, the spire point 125gr. HP TNTs were very accurate, and upset to almost .45" diameter in Whistledog meat.
Don't think I'd try them in an M1 carbine though, they stick out a bit.
