Titewad in 38spl

I was wondering if anyone has tried Titewad in a 38spl shooting 125gr cast RNFP bullets? I needed to load up 1000rds for a trip coming up and the only powder that I could find was Titewad. I was thinking of starting at 3.5gr as these are just light plinkers. So have any of you guys played with it? Any loads you you would like to share?

I see in my Lyman book that Titewad is between Bullseye(2.8 for 125gr L) & RedDot(3.2 for 125gr L) on the burn chart.
I wouldn't recommend using this technique to find a load, but 3.0 grains is where I would find myself for the weight you listed.

maybe this will help.
As you can see, Titewad is #3 on this burn rate chart,

That burn chart is way different than my Lyman manual.
Data says 2006? My book is the newest book & lists Titewad in between RedDot & Bulleye.
That chart put Titewad faster than both![:0] That's why this method is not recommended.
I see you're in Ca., if you are anywhere near Norco I have a pound of Bullseye I can part with to tide you over. Let me know via PM.
