Opening day!!!!!!! and I sit in the office

This sucks! 29 degrees out, no wind, and I have to sit in the office today. I would be able to get out Monday and Tuesday, but the temps are going back up to the 80's. I don't care to hunt when it is that hot. Oh well this is Minnesota and the temps can't stay up for too long.

    I took yesterday off to work at the local pro shop. Sold quite a few bows, lots of arrows, and camo too. I can't believe how many people are not prepared for season. There were a few that came in yesterday to buy a bow to hunt with today!

    Oh well. I am getting messages from friends in the field. I know of 5 does taken today so far. Another friend passed on a bunch of does and 2 fork horn bucks. Maybe Sunday afternoon I can get out if the wife does not have too much planned for me.
