epoxy on bow?

i have got a bow that the limb has got a sliver coming of about an 1/2" wide 2" long and only 1/8" thick could a person epoxy that back down then sand it off and use it again?
appreciate any help on this matter.

    Hill,
    I would contact the manufacturer of the bow and ask them. They may even repair it for you, maybe give you a knew limb. I would not mess with the limb though. If that sob gives while your drawing you could get hurt. Good luck..
