Horse shoes and hand grenades. I know, I know, but Sunday morning I had two bucks fighting 50 yards from me, just behind a tree. After they fought, they followed a trail within 10 yards of me, but never made it into a shot lane for a shot. One was a 1 1/2 year old 6, and the other was a mature 8. I was going to pass on the 6, and try to take the 8, but neither ever gave me a shot. It was almost like they knew where I could shoot and where I couldn't. After hanging around for 5 minutes or so, they finally wandered off right behind my tree where again, I couldn't shoot. Hopefully I'll see them again when I get a chance to hunt in a couple of weeks.
