Green score P&Y 152 7/8 with 10 2/8 deductions resulting in 142 5/8. Will have it officially scored in Feb. after 60 days drying. [:D]

I have no idea what he weighed. Never weighted a deer
in my life. The european mount I am doing is looking very good.

Prime buck in nice condition with mighty fine antlers also ... impressive!

There has to be a story or two with this, right?

European mount - definitely a great way to go.

( Have never understood folks getting a decent or bettter set of antlers and then hacking it all down to a scab of a little skull cap. The European mount is the best that I've ever encountered. Can use the money saved for gear and/or hunts! )

Congratulations on your hunting and your harvesting. [^]

Thanks Alan! I was in a low flat wooded area and had only been there
15-20 minutes in the afternoon when a doe came in from the right a stopped and took a pee 20 yds out. A little forked horn followed her
sniffing and she took off with him in tow. Just a few seconds later
this big boy came running in from straight in front( he must have been watching from afar)and hit the same trail she came in on. I had to draw
while he was coming straight in and while his head was low. I knew he would stop where she had pee'd. Just as he was putting his last foot down to sniff I relaxed my fingers, the nocturnal told me I had a good hit and complete pass through. He went 25 yds., stopped, bedded, and fell over in just a few seconds. My quad pro 100 had gone through the top 3rd of his heart. Harvested him 2 years to the day I harvested my first P&Y. Beautiful, you were definitely in the right pace at the right time and knew what you were doing for sure!

I'm certain that you will be re-experiencing that scene many times dreaming both day and night.

Great experience, story and photos, thanks much and congratulations!
