Anybody ever tried this as a ball sealant on a BP revolver? I know it won't burn, and I dont think it melts. What will it do to the barrel?

I found the MSDS sheet on it and it doesn't look like the proper material. It's not pertoleum based but apparently will burn at higher temps and also will put off toxic fumes.
We use it at work to coat o-rings and figured I would just ask. Guess I could have don my research before asking! Thanks for the reply!
