    I use have used a 3-9X40 Simmons & a 4-16X44 Redfield on my inline.

Just depends on how much money you have to spend and how far you want to shoot.

Not worried about the money too much. The Nikon and the Leupold muzzleloading models are about the same price. I would like to be able to hit something out to 300yds. I doubt if I would shoot a deer that far with a muzzleloader, but there are tons of coyotes. The Leupold would sell the gun better when I quit hunting I would think.

You don't need a muzzleloading scope. Any scope will work fine.
I am cranking mine up to 3,200 foot pounds which is more than a 30-06, so if you do that, get a pretty good scope to take the recoil.

    I have a Sightron S2 3x9 which cost about 200 bucks, 4 years ago.
    Works great on the Savage.
Smack a deer in the lungs with that thing, you won't believe the damage.

    Good luck!

I will be taking mine out tomorrow hope I get one.
