Knight Rifles

I have four Knight Rifles and unfortunitly all four have different ignition systems. Is there a source that would allow me to convert the bolts and breechplugs to one universal system?

That's not quite true, Knight went out of business, then was reestablished with new owners (PI Inc.) in a different location (Athens, TN).

If you want to change ignition systems to the bare primer system, or red plastic primer holders (red discs), try Midway. They carry some Knight replacement breech plugs. If you can't find what you want there google the part you want. I even found some stuff on ebay. Good luck.

I imagine the best, perhaps only change I can make would be the breechplug itself. Changing it over to a Musket cap ignition utilizing the same bolt and firing pin that ignighted the #11 cap. Does that sound reasonable?

    I won't hold my breath

James, I had one of their early rifles (can't remember the model now bighorn Maybe) it fired a bare #11

I swapped out the breech plug system for one that would lite a musket cap

I don't remember having to change the bolt. I got the kit from midway years ago. before knight flopped
