question about Shot Gun

For cowboy action shooting does any one shoot a Winchester model 1887 Lever gun in 12Ga. for speed in reloading how does it compair to a Model 97 Pump.

    I shoot one once in awhile. If it has the drop two mod, it can run as quick as a 97. It does take a lot of practice, and when you have a train wreck with one, it is ugly

    you don't see a lot of them being used,but they are out there.My Pard at last week's shoot was just learning his,and it was indeed a learning experience. One fella is experinced,and I think most '97 users who are fast,can outrun him.
