I'd like to have some feed back concerning the Browning Mountain rifle. How well do the shoot when proper loads are worked up? Any problems? How is the fit and finish? Any other information would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

I see them asking $400+ here. It's a nice, well made rifle faithful to the Hawken rifle design. The lock appears sturdy and well made with a coil mainspring. It is machine made and does not have the subtle lines of a hand made stock. I have not fired mine. I have never heard anything bad about them.

Depends on condition and if it has the box and papers. I would say a minimum of $375-$400 for a decent condition shooter grade with no box or papers. Could go up to $600-$700 NIB with all the paper work.
