I want a small pistol like a PPK for carry but I want it in 9mm not in .380 or .32 only in 9mm.
Now I was under the impression walther didn't make any PP varients in 9mm however I was looking threw my old Illustrated Encyclopedia Of Handguns and saw that the PPK took 9mm short rounds? Whats the main difference between short's and regular 9mm rounds? There are bullet compairison pictures in the back of the book but they look pretty similar.
If this thread ends continue on in general I created another thread.

this is one of the best small 9mm's on the market.
I've been getting a lot of nods from the CZ enthusiasts for the CZ RAMI.
CZ is extremely popular in Europe.

What is the verdict on this pistol from you fellahs?
The 9x18 MM isn't as powerfull as the 9MM Luger round. But it's not puny either. It's roughly 1/2 way between the .380 and the 9MM Luger in power. I haven't priced a Mak since I bought mine a few years back. But I got mine w/Military holster, 2 mags and a cleaning tool for about $180.
I've since bought an Ace Mfg. nylon web, clip on holster for it.
The 9x18 Makarov IMO is an excellent concideration. Those Soviet designed guns WORK. A well made and extremely reliable smaller pistol.

This is also a good choice. My personal preference is a Radom P64 9X18. I carry it every day. I got mine for $150 off GB.
