Worth, original anything?

Serial number 554671
Borem, WG on it.
Under pin and slide is a G.
18 by trigger.
G by hamer under slide.
8 above serial number, under slide.

Some of it is wore pretty good, an 8 could be a G or like wise on some parts on the inside but the outside stuff is clear. Thanks guys, my uncle is willing to sale it to me but dont know how much to offer?

Hello made 1918 in the correct serial number range to have colt slide and frame . Looks like all the correct parts . on outside look for the two letters Very Small on chamber area or back surface of the barrel hood correct barrel will add value as will original finish. I cant tell for sure if original finish but [?] but at least it has not been parkerized [:p][:)][:D] The g is for government contract but slightly confused about BOREM WG should have three intertwined letters GHS JMG WGP or GWT in a small circle near the Magazine release. The 18 denotes one of the people that assembled the pistol. I would think in the condition I THINK I see it would be worth $1000.00 + with correct barrel.A hand on inspection would be better to get detail value. "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN"

Is the WG on frame or barrel if on the frame near the disconnector hole then this also denotes some other people involved in putting pistol together and fitting the parts.

Edit #2 the barrel should have the letters HP on the top of chamber with the letter H closest to the open rear and the left leg of the letter P the same line as the right leg of the H sounds like may be aftermarket barrel but can you take picture of this W G.

Near the magazine release, under the grips, there is a small stamp. It kind of looks like the ghosts from pac-man. Then maybe a tiny letter G under it? Cant make it it out...Thanks guys.
