I bought a used Ithica muzzleloader when I was 13 yrs. old for $100. Since then I have not ever really been able to gather any information on this gun. I can't seem to find any others like it........ Maybe someone on here could shed some light on this- It is a 50 cal. "Hawkens" percussion. I'm looking for year of production and quantity produced since I can't find any others. S/N 121267

Ithaca (not Ithica) offered a .50 caliber "Hawken" kit in their 1978 catalog but I think it was a Navy Arms import. You may want to find a copy of the Blue Book of Blackpowder Guns Values.

I found a page from a Blackpowder price guide:

    "Ithaca/Navy Hawken", .50 or .54 caliber

    New in box: $350
    Exc: $300
    VG: $250
    Good: $200
    Fair: $150
    Poor: $100
