Are silencers legal. I need to control some vermin but I do not want to create noise.

    Thinkin bout buyin a silencer for a .22 LR... Never bought one. How much, what brands, how many bullets are they good for. I live in Tulsa , ok and have heard their is a Fed. Tax , how much? Thanks for Your time

    No, there is a gap between the cylinder and the barrel allowing gases(noise) to escape.

    Exception to the rule is the Russian Nagant revolver.

    It does help, but it is (in my experience) noiser than a semi-auto, even with it's action cycling.
