Rem 870 slug scout ideas?

Looking to mount a scout-style scope or red dot on a Rem 870 20-ga. set up for slugs. Anybody already make a scout mount? What about a barrel sleeve with a rail? D&T receiver and mount an extended rail over the barrel? Anybody ever heard of this done before? Any ideas/directions appreciated. Thanks!
