I just got my hands on a 2 1/2 incn combat cobra. I know its a Lew Horton and there were only 1000 made in 1987 its stainless no factory grips no box or papers, all in all its a pretty nice revolver, can any of you guys give me a real value on it? I might be taking it to the gun show in reno in august and it might be on the block.THANKS GUYS

    According to Bluebook:

    COMBAT COBRA
    - .357 Mag. cal., 2 1/2 in. barrel, special edition for Lew Horton with "CC" prefix and stainless steel construction.
    Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60%
    ..........$575 $475 $400 $335 $290 $245 $215

Of course, these figures could be well below actual trading prices. Bloobook currently understates Colt Pythons by about 25%

You should log on to the auction side and do a search of completed auctions for Combat Cobra. Colt prices have gone crazy lately and you may be surprised what it's worth!
