years ago i use to have a savage 30/30 pump have not been able to find one can some one help

    I just did a search on this site, not long ago, a Savage model 170 was offered at $189, no bids were made. Another sold a few months back for $155. It is amazing what a search can turn up here.

    Savage made three different model 170s.A 30/30 rifle,30/30 carbine And a .35 cal rifle.I have all three .The .35 is one of the most accurate rifles I have ever fired.I have been shooting for over 50yrs.By the way they are NOT for sale.

    I bought one when they first came out in 30-30 cal, Put on a recever sight and got 1" groups at 100 yards, wish I still had it but traded it off. the price when new was $99.00. My local gun shop has a used one in 32 cal for around $150.00

    Chuck,check that one that the gun shop has.They only made them in 30/30 & .35 Rem. no .32s.

    ATF got it out the other day. dang thing quit letting you pump it after you shoot. have no clue![:(]
