Colt Automatic Caliber .25 value

I have a very small .25 caliber colt hand gun with checkered wood grips and silver colt emblems on handle. Its marked with "Colt Automatic Caliber .25" on one side of the slide and "Colt's PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A" on the other side. No indiacation of year made. This is not an old gun. I'd like to find a value for it.

I've discovered this is a Colt Junior. It has an OD serial number placing it back in the 70's. Its finsih is so good I though it was a newer gun. Estimates I've seen place the value from $175 up to $300.

Your Colt is not a Colt Junior. The Colt "Juniors" were made from 1958 to 1968 by Astra in Spain. They have Junior printed on the gun, and "made in Spain" also on the gun.

I have 2 of the guns you have. They are just like printed on the gun. "Colt Automatic caliber .25"

The "Junior" models were made in .22 Short and .25 acp. The "Colt Automatics" were made in .25 only. These guns are valued at $200.00 to $300.00 in good condition.
