Nice,,but I don't think the grips are original as some people are particular on what they bid on (Colt-Wood) like the other pic is what I have seen on that finish..Ballpark here..600-700 retail without box, ect.
the other "combat commander COLT automatic caliber .45"
Pics would be helpful or just go to Gunbroker.com and type in make and model then see what they're going for. I suppose you could check recent solds and figure out the price that way, too.
It has some minor blemishes that I can see. Im no expert, but would think 85 plus.
Sounds like you have a '70 Series Combat Commander. I can't see your pictures.
Rather than use all 10 permitted responses trying different things, edit your original post by clicking on EDIT (the icon of a pencil & paper) & adding additional information at the bottom.
If you find the standard photo posting procedure too difficult:

send me an email (click on my name) & I will send you an email with a Word attachment that explains in more detail.
When trying to post photos for the first time, press the PREVIEW button (NOT the POST button) to see if what you did works. If the photo doesn't show when you PREVIEW, it won't work when you POST.
Stay with it, we will work with you. Good photos are needed to correctly identify your gun & mags.

You have a Satin Nickle Combat Commander made about 1973.
If you have the orginal box and papers it is worth about $900-1100
No box about $750
That is not a very good finish Colt put on those.
