colt 1908 pearl grips

have a colt 1908 type 2 made approx.1920 with an x-tra set of grips.they are real pearl and i would like to know whether or not they are colt factory grips.they are plain without medallions.can anyone help?

or the 1908 vest pocket?
both were available with multiple grips and finishes.
the vest pocket had no medallion pearl and ivory grips as an option. checked walnut were the same extra cost: 12 bucks!
the 1908 .380 also was available with pearl but usually had a medallion. BUT some didn't.
back then, colt would make you whatever you wanted for minimal premium.
unfortunately, many colt letters on these don't specify optional factory grips. there are some telltale signs of "period" ie old grips and that might be the best classification. there weren't a lot of after market grips back then, so likely factory.
