I have a Ruger Security Six and after shooting 6 rounds, the cylinder becomes very difficult to turn. It feels like it needs a good cleaning because after you turn the cylinder a lot it becomes loose again and will spin fine. Then it becomes difficult to turn again after shooting six more rounds. Does anybody know where I could find information on taking the cylinder out and apart? I have looked on the internet for disassembly guides but I haven't had any luck. Thanks.

Will any other Ruger sights work on it?

    Some of 'em.
    Not all of 'em.
You could call Ruger, but Brownell's is apt to be more helpful.

Thanks..Brownell's is just a few miles from Me.

    Surekill,
What more would you like to know?
Traded mine for something I thought I needed more and have regretted it ever since. Mine was as accurate as my 686 and Python, handy and built to last. Will replace it one day. Whatever sights you end up putting on yours, HOLD ON TO IT!

I don't plan on getting rid of it...I took the sights off and put a scope on it and Now I can't find them.
