I understand that the 999 sportsman has had a recent jump in popularity. I have one in a good strong .98% condition with a false vent rib. I believe it was made 1981. can any one help me out with a current value? Thanks!

    Check the auction side. From what I've seen recently, $250. is about the going rate on most. A really NICE one might bring a tad more.
    These are great pistols. Just remember to be meticulous in keeping the ejector mech clean.

    If its a true 98% you will go north of 250. ... timing is everything,,but could do 350-400

    Yep, that's what they are bringing, $ 400+ is normal for that condition with the box!!
