hello, does anyone know the
size of a John Deere L100
lawn tractor wheel shaft key ?
Of course all the dealers are closed.
Once I get the dims, I'll go to the ace
store and gin one up.

    I think 1/4 inch . you are not supposed to lose the one that your mower had . I buy square key stock in a package 12 inches long about 6 different sizes Also work at John Deere Dealership in sales but do lots of lawn equipment work at home.

    Thanks for replying Karl but I just found out on
    the web. Odd tho the parts list for an L100
    calls out for a M82401 shaft key but when
    I look up that p/n number every lawn tractor around
    is listed except the L100 . 3/16" x 2" it says.
    The key way mikes out at .185 (leading edge and settles down
    to .180) the items must be called out by rounded off numbers.
