ar 22 Chiappa upper conversion

looking for some info on a 22 conversion for my ar so my daughter might try it on for size.

this one any good yes, no, hit and miss

    Check out CMMG. With a few minor changes, if you're so inclined, their upper can look, weigh and feel exactly like a 5.56 upper. The Chiappa is is OK but from what I read but will not be mistaken for the real thing.

    On my CMMG I removed the little shell deflector, replaced the half ejector cover with a full and added a "for looks" gas tube and gas tube pin. Excellent accuracy too.

    I use a committed lower and found an extra strength mainspring was needed to reliably fire the rimfire case.
