I moved this topic from the Black Powder forum since I was not getting your opinions.
Would like your opinions on using the liquid Lee lube on cast bullets in muzzle loaders. I cast a lot of Lee REAL bullets and Lee Minnie balls last week. I like the thought of not having to lube them individually.

I mostly shoot real black and when I do use American Pioneer I just use "Spit Patch" applied to the bullet right before loading if its hot out. Cold out I can lube them ahead of time.
I didn't see the TC stuff for sale in the tube but Lee has a lube that looks correct. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/675441/muzzle-loader-originals-precision-lube-2000-black-powder-patch-lubricant-4-oz-jar
Oh I guess they call it "Bore Butter" now. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1073416017/thompson-center-natural-lube-1000-plus-bore-butter-tube
TC had a gizmo that screwed onto the tube as a sizer lubricator or you could buy or make one like this unit. https://www.patmarlins.com/introducing-the-new-pocketluberbp-bullet-luber/
BP lube is designed to keep the burnt powder residue soft thus improving accuracy for your next shot and making the barrel easy to clean, like Mobuck said. I would not use the lee Alox for any BP shooting.
All my cast bullets are lubed with SPG.
